For anyone seeking the alpha supermoto, then the Bimota DB10R is the only ride in town to satisfy that itch. Only 5 DB10 R’s were ever built, and only one exists in Australia! This bike is showroom perfect, having travelled only a fraction over 2,000k’s, it lives in its owners lounge room.

As if the awesome DB10 wasn’t enough, the R model is on steroids! The L-2 (not V-2) 1078cc desmo twin thumper pumps out 95hp at 7700rpm in stock Euro dumbed-down emissions spec. (add a rapid-bike ecu controller and sub 120’s will be a thing of the past)

The R’s WOW factor is in the high-end up-grades i.e., Brembo radial master cylinders & uprated Brembo stopper’s, Extreme-tech Marzocchis, gooey racing tires, STM Slipper clutch, a 5mm shorter wheel base for improved manoeuvrability, lightweight aluminium rims, and a 10mm drop in seat height compliments of the slightly shorter suspension. In the black-bling department there is a ton of carbon fibre that results in a svelte 172kgs!!!

Rumour has it that this model DB10 may be the last year Bimota use the air-cooled thumper; word on the street is they will move to the heavier liquid cooled desmo.
