1987 Suzuki RG500 WALTER WOLF

$13,088.40

 Product Description

1987 RG500 Walter Wolf

One of the rarest of all GP inspired 2 strokes is the Suzuki RG500. This example is finished in the famous Walter Wolf livery, one of the first ever race replica bikes built. Commonly referred to as the WW's, the model was produced in recognition of the all-conquering factory RGV500 race team, sponsored by Canadian Walter Wolf, who, in the 70’s, became one of the world’s richest men from supplying specialised oil drilling equipment. Together Wolf & Suzuki won 7 consecutive world championships.

Only 100 full power WW's were produced and all were sent to Canada. The remainder of the WW production were only produced for the Japan domestic market. This JDM example has very low k’s and is ideal for restoration. Available in ‘as-landed’ condition only until such time as we commence restoration.
