1974 Moto Guzzi V7 Sport
The Moto Guzzi V7 was first released in 1965 and it was a ground changer for the small manufacturer. Never before had a motorcycle used a V-twin engine in the configuration that would become quintessentially Moto Guzzi. In 1971 the V7 benefited from an upgrade by famed designer Lino Tonti; it would become the first V7 Sport and its success lead to the ‘S’ version which would become the first bike to break the magic 200kph ceiling.
Today Guzzi’s V7 750 Sport S is one of the most sought-after of all the Guzzi family, and this particular example has been spectacularly restored. Although ridden sparingly, the pictures confirm that this spectacular V7 S has sat on display inside the owner’s home since being restored.
