This beautifully original 1974 Ducati 750 Sport is one of the few Australian delivered examples that have come to market. Delivered new in Victoria, this 750 Sport has had only three fastidious owners from new. Records show it has been superbly maintained, and included with the bike is the original Ducati Owner's manual and ultra-rare additional parts manual.
Such was the Australian love affair with these beautiful machines, that in 1978 Norm Fraser Motorcycles, Australia's largest Ducati emissary at the time, commissioned the Ducati factory to build 40 750 GT's and 32 750 Sports; these would be the last ever produced. The frame and engine numbers to this bike place it into the range of those last 32 Sports, and with the rear wheel date stamped 7/78, it is reasonably safe to assume that this is one of the last to ever 750 round-case Ducati’s to roll out of Bologna.
In 2016, a restored example sold in the USA for 72kUSD, while 50-55kUSD is now an accepted price. Comparatively in Europe you will not find an equal example for under 35-40,000 EUR!!
