1974/78 Ducati 750 Sport Roundcase.
Ducatisti and Ducati historians will know of the very unique batch of 22 1974 specification 750 Sport’s built exclusively by the factory for Norm Fraser (Fraser Motorcycles) in 1978. This particular bike is the first of those 22 to be sold in 1978, and is a very rare, and spectacular motorcycle. Originally sold to Mr Joe Monty, of Leichardt, NSW, on October 5, 1978.
Although this bike was restored to an extremely high standard, it has never seen service beyond the original post-restoration shake-down run. During the initial road trials the owner reported that the bike ran, sounded, and handled beautifully. This motorcycle is presented in spectacular conditional and appearance, and supports a few unusual features compared to the regular 1974 models.
Only 22 of these Sports were ever made in 1978 and only came to Australia. This bike has never been damaged and has unquestionable provenance.
